Tracker Boats

I am looking into buying a bass boat abd really like the Tracker boats offered by Bass Pro Shops. Nice price and ready to fish. They come totally loaded with everything including fishfinders. Has anyone bought one of these boats or used on? Or does anyone have suggestions for a differnt brand. Would like to buy brand new to get a warranty.

Im from missouri moved up here couple of years ago and dont know where to go for them. Does anyone know where to fish for any type of catfish, either shore fishing or by boat?

Ice Shanty suggestions

Thinkin about investing in a fishing shanty. I have one I built a few years ago out of plywood and an old canvas army tarp, works great for getting out of the wind, it goes up fast, and it blocks out the light so you can see down the hole. But it is bulky and doesnt pull very well for when we walk out.

So looking for a basic fishing shanty that will hold 2 guys and gear but I want to be able to fold it up and throw it in my truck, needs to be light enough I can drag it by...

Had an opportunity to fish a bit on Hubbard Lake over the holiday. One spot on the south end near the old marina was very productive for a species that I am not very familiar with. I have seen others catch Gar Pike in Lake St. Clair and have seen only a couple of wild ones in my lifetime. It really is a "Jurassic Park" looking kind of fish. Anyone have a report on fishing in the Tawas area? I heard that people are fishing the mouth of the river and was wondering what they were after, Perch? Walleye? Am going to be up there this weekend and would like to do some fishing so any reports, rumers would be appreciated.

Hello everyone! I will be moving up to Cadillac in a few weeks and am looking for new fishing areas around there. I used to go up there to the area every spring and fall for the salmon and steel head runs. So I know where to fish the Manistee (big and little), the betsie, and the platt rivers.
But for bass and trout I have no clue where to go. I don't have access to a boat so shore fishing and wadeing are my only options. If anyone has any suggestions I would be thankful.

I cannot wait to get out a few times to catch some panfish. Going in the Tawas area probably end of April or early May. Usually catch a few bass as well.

Just a word of warning, one guy died on Saginaw Bay yesterday after falling through the ice and his fishing buddy was in the hospital with severe hypothermia, as of the 11 oclock news the coast guard was searching for 3 snowmobilers who went through last night. Be carefull, be safe, no fish dinner is worth it.
